Embark on a 4-hour odyssey to the breathtaking landscapes of the San Rafael Swell, where the majestic pillars of Long Dong Silver and Angel of Death rise from the Blue Valley. These iconic formations offer a visual feast, perfect for professional photographers and anyone with a sense of adventure. This tour is ideal for those capable of a 1.5-mile hike.

Your journey begins with a convenient pick-up from your lodging in the Torrey or Teasdale areas. We'll traverse the awe-inspiring Capitol Reef National Park, enjoying a scenic 1-hour drive to the trailhead.

Upon arrival, we will set out on a 1.5-mile hike over flat, easy terrain suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Our first destination is the Angel of Death, a striking pillar that rises dramatically from the landscape, offering a perfect photo opportunity.

We then continue to Long Dong Silver, where you'll have approximately 30 minutes to capture its unique splendor. Drones are welcome and permitted in this area, and if you don't have one, we can provide and operate a drone for you at an additional fee.

After completing the tour, guests will retrace their steps back to the vehicle for the return journey, where you'll be transported back to your lodgings or pick-up point.
